Shakini Dhakini is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action thriller comedy film directed by Sudheer Varma.[1] A co-production between Suresh Productions, Guru Films, and Kross Pictures, the film stars Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas.[2][3]
Plot[edit]
It is the story of two trainee female police officers, played by Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas who get on an amateur investigation and bust a gang of kidnappers and human traffickers.[4][5][6]

The filming started in March, but was halted due to the rise in the COVID-19 cases. The team announced goals to finish the entire shoot by August 2021, and is hoping to release the movie by end of the same year. Shakini Dakani is a Telugu remake of the 2017 South Korean film, Midnight Runners.[7][8]
