Shalom Reimer is a Canadian former pageant winner from British Columbia who won Miss Teen Canada on March 5, 2016 in Quebec[1][2]. Prior to this, she was Miss Teen BC 2015[3].

Personal life[edit]

Reimer is from Fort Langley, British Columbia.[4] Her mother was Miss Saskatoon and competed in the Miss Teen Canada competition.[5] She graduated Pacific Academy, a high school in Surrey.[6] At her school, Reimer founded "The Hub", a Christian leadership and service program for students in grades 6 to 8.[7][8]

Pageantry[edit]

In the summer of 2015, Reimer was awarded the title of Miss Teen BC.[2] After winning the title, Reimer used her platform to volunteer and raise awareness for charities and events such as the Terry Fox Run, the Fort Langley Cranberry Festival, Variety Show of Hearts Telethon, and Ronald McDonald House.[9][10]

In 2016 at age 17, Reimer was named Miss Teen Canada after a week long competition in Laval, Quebec.[11] Miss Teen Canada is affiliated with the Miss Canada pageant.
