Shambala is a 2020 Kyrgyzstani drama film directed by Artykpai Suyundukov. It was selected as the Kyrgyz entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards.[1]

A boy living in a protected forest finds the comforting folklore he grew up with in conflict with the harsh realities around him.
