Shandonagh GAA Club is a Gaelic Football Club in Mullingar, County Westmeath. Only a five minute drive from the town centre [1] Shandonagh Gaa supports all age groups from nursery to senior teams.
History
The Club was founded in 1884 in Shandonagh, Co. Westmeath [2]. Since then, the club has been growing in numbers of junior and senior players, and Shandonagh moved to Kilpatrick, Mullingar around the 20th Century. Currently Shandonagh GAA has one football pitch and has planning permission granted for more football pitches and an astro pitch[3].
About the club
Shandonagh GAA has a Clubhouse with toilets and changing rooms; there's also an upstairs which is used for meetings or gatherings. Shandonagh GAA is very successful over the past few years with their junior and senior teams.
