Shane De'Von Mitch (born August 17, 1988), better known by his stage name De'Von Mitch, is an American R&B and Hip Hop recording artist. He is currently signed by Hood Bosses, a company co-owned by his brother Cedric Bullard. De'Von Mitch released his first mixtape called making a comeback in 2006. De'Von Mitch changed his stage name several times before finalizing it to be De'Von Mitch which was the idea of his friend Jeffery Hardaway. De'Von Mitch has not released any new albums but has released several singles with his most notable song called Non-Sense.

Career[edit]

2006–present
Early Career

Devon Mitch was in a R&B and gospel group called M.I.A. Men In Action) during 2002–2006. After the group separated De'Von Mitch began releasing R&B and Rap Songs in 2006. He released multiple tracks such as "bleed", "Buck", "Lime Light", "Chill" and many others. When De'Von Mitch attended Southwestern Christian College, he continued doing music with other classmates in his college dorm. A notable songs that he released was called "Can't Wait", which featured a friend named Jeremy Price (JP), who died in a car accident in 2012. A few years after De'Von Mitch did not release any songs until the beginning of 2017 were he dropped the song called "The World".

Early life[edit]

De'Von Mitch was born Shane De'Von Mitch on August 17, 1988, in Huntsville, Texas, to Patricia and Sylvester Mitchell at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Mitchell was raised mostly by his mother due to his father being in and out of jail and never at home.

Education[edit]

De'Von Mitch graduated high school in 2006 from Huntsville High School. In High School De'Von Mitch played football, basketball and track & field. However, De'Von Mitch was more fascinated with track & field because his sister and father were track & field stars. De'Von Mitch ran the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash and 4x100 meter relay and the 4x200 meter relay. Later on in the summer of 2002 De'Von Mitch was recruited by track & field team Houston Heat. De'Von mitch went to the Junior Olympics were he placed 2nd place. After De'Von Mitch completed High School,He was not concerned about continuing his education until a friend convinced him to go to Southwestern Christian College. After receiving his associates degree in criminal justice, De'Von Mitch went to Prairie View A&M University to obtain his Bachelors in Juvenile Justice. After completing his degree in 2011, De'Von Mitch later relocated to Denver, where he enrolled at University of Denver in 2014.
