Shane Stayis an author that has written the books, The Euro 2022, European Soccer Leagues 2019, The Women’s World Cup Book 2019, Major League Soccer 2019, The World Cup 2018 Book, Why American Soccer Isn’t There Yet and The Cairo Project. In 2014, in the radio broadcast on "WFAE NPR North Carolina" "Soccer In Charlotte" host Mike Collins said of Stay's book in reference to American soccer not yet winning a men's World Cup, "Why American Soccer Isn't There Yet, but it will be, that's the subtitle I just gave it."[1]

In addition, Stay founded the salad dressing, Leaf Dressing, as discussed on NPR station Capitol Public Radio, Sacramento, CA[2]

Career[edit]

Along with being an author, Stay has played professional soccer, bottled Leaf Dressing, worked clubs as a comedian, and played restaurateur.[3][4][5]
