Shankar-Shambhu
Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". Shankar and Shambhu were a popular duo of Qawwali singers from India. They were brothers, born and brought up in the village of Dariyapur (Aligarh district) in Uttar Pradesh (India).[1] They published over eight albums and several singles.[2]
They were celebrated as exemplars of communal harmony and their music was very popular.[3]
Shankar died in a car accident in 1984 and his younger brother Shambhu died of a heart attack in 1989.[citation needed]
