Shanker Raman is an Indian filmmaker who has worked in the capacities of writer, director and mainly cinematographer. For his cinematography in Frozen, he won awards at Asian Film Awards and Durban International Film Festival. Some of his notable works as a cinematographer include movies like Peepli (Live), Rocky Handsome and most recently, Mukkabaaz. For the film Harud, he won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Urdu. He most recently directed several episodes for Leila, dystopian drama original series for Netflix.
