Sharad Patel (Born on 29 May 1987) is an enthusiastic Indian Producer, a passionate Filmmaker, a contemporary Auteur, a euphonious Singer and profound Real Estate Developer. His dedicated involvement and phenomenal presence has revived the Gujarati Film Industry dawning an era of Renaissance.
Being the founder of the established Production House & Studio in India; SP CINECORP CINEMATIC VENTURE LTD, Sharad Patel has taken Gujarati Film Industry to the national level.The talented man is reckoned as the youngest owner to organize the India’s famous Rajasthan Fashion Week.
He is the producer of the blockbuster regional film Chhello Divas (2015) a critically acclaimed movie Buddha In A Traffic Jam (2016) and the associate producer of the family entertainer Sweetiee Weds NRI (2017). He is the producer of the National Award Winning Hindi-language political thriller The Tashkent Files (2019). He has been the producer of Comedy Gujarati Film; Vickida no Varghodo (2022).
Professionally, Sharad Patel is bold in his choices for film scripts and content. He has an exciting array of projects under his belt since he began his journey in the film industry. Apart from his fascination for films, he has deep-rooted interest in music, reading, and spirituality while making a mark in the realm of real-estate. Early Life:
The creative creator Sharad Patel was born in The Banyan City Of Vadodara Gujarat. His father, Sanjay Patel is a renowned real estate developer having more than 30 years of rich experience in Real Estate. His visionary approach has set a new benchmark in this sphere of constructing space for Commercial, Residential and Industrial projects. While Sharad’s mother is a traditional home-maker.
Having flair for creativity since beginning, he completed his schooling from Tejas Vidyalaya in 2005. The brilliant director in making completed B.Tech Computer Engineering from Nirma University Ahmedabad in 2009. His love for films further took him to The Prestigious Barry John Acting Studio at Mumbai to pursue a significant course in stagecraft.
Career:
In 2010, Sharad Patel started his career by joining his father in the family business of real estate spanning over 3 decades. Since then, he has been making note-worthy contributions with excellence adorning the horizons with landmark residential and commercial projects.
Within a span of 5 Years, he has independently completed 4 large scale projects worth of multiple Crores while benchmarking the identity of the brand. These well-known projects include Auspice Boulevard Aims Prospero and Brushellz Industrial Park.

RAJASTHAN FASHION WEEK
Being the Jack of several traits, Sharad has always remained spiritually connected. This spiritual connection has helped him to fetch idyllic inspirations from within. At the age of 23, Sharad Patel steeped foot into the glamour industry by ideating, promoting and executing the renowned fashion week of the country, Rajasthan Fashion Week in 2012 & 2013. The event was graced by the presence of prominent designers like Padma Shri Ritu Kumar Himmat Singh, Vikram Phadnis, Shahid Amir, Lina Tipnis, Pallavi Jaipur, Mandira Wirk, Neeta Lulla, Krishna Dembla, Payal Jain, Ramesh Dembla, Sonaakshi Raaj& others showcased their talent. Celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Vivek Oberoi, Zayed Khan, R Madhavan and others walked the ramp. It was extensively covered by Zoom TV in 2012 and Fashion TV in 2013. Rajasthan Fashion Week crowned him as the Laurel of being the ‘Youngest Owner’ of a National Level Fashion Event.
FILMS & WEB SERIES
To pursue his passion for film-making he dared to start from the scratch; leaving aside the established business background. Sharad entered the Indian Film Industry as a producer in 2015 as the Producer of a regional film ‘Chhello Divas’ changing the scenario of the urban Gujarati film Industry with its unique script. The film created an unbeaten box office record of INR 20 Cr in the Gujarati Film Industry. The success of this movie assisted Sharad Patel to establish his own Production House & Studio ‘SP CINECORP in 2015.
He also produced the critically acclaimed political film ‘Buddha In A Traffic Jam’ in 2016, which was his first association with Bollywood, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, starring Anupam Kher, Arunoday Singh, Mahi Gill & others. The movie made news for its powerful subject and an open discussion of the ongoing feud between capitalism and socialism.
After Buddha In A Traffic Jam, came a family entertainer ‘Sweetie weds NRI’ in 2017, starring Darshan Jariwala, Himansh Kohli, Zoya Afroz, Kiran Juneja and others, in which he was the associate producer. Currently, he is producing a political thriller about the mysterious death of India’s 2ndPrime Minister, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastriji, titled ‘The Tashkent Files’, with Vivek Agnihotri as its director, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Naseeruddin Shah, Shweta Basu Prasad, Pallavi Joshi, Rajesh Sharma , Mandira Bedi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prakash Belawadi, Vinay Pathak and others.
Sharad entered into the world of web series by producing the second season of ‘All About Section 377’ , titled ‘Still About Section 377’, directed by Amit Khanna.
