In 1989, Shari's Berries began as a local retail and delivery business in the Sacramento area.[1].
Between 1998 and 2002, a series of licenses involving Shari's Berries name and products allowed Shari's Berries' dipped berries and dessert products to be sold nationwide both online and through catalogs [2]
Acquisitions[edit]
In August 2006, Provide Commerce purchased the assets of Shari's Berries.
In 2014 [3], floral company Florists' Transworld Delivery (FTD) bought Provide Commerce with the goal of diversifying their holdings [4]. In addition to Shari's Berries, Provide Commerce owns ProFlowers, Personal Creations, and Gifts.com.
