Sharpin Digital Pinball is a hardware manufacturing company that specializes in creating virtual pinball machines for use with pinball simulations.[1]

In 2019, the small startup from Austria wanted to stir up the market with the world's first virtual pinball machine. Since the financial means for mass production were lacking, the company wanted to finance their first product (Sharpin Ultra - table pinball) through a Kickstarter campaign.

A private investor was found for the product after just a few days and Sharpin stopped the Kickstarter campaign early.[2]

Within a very short time, the product sold thousands of times worldwide and numerous media such as Forbes, one of the most successful business magazines worldwide reported on the new company.[3]

The great success of Sharpin Pinball led to that one year later (2020) globally known companies such as Arcade1Up and ATgames took up the concept and developed their own devices based on Android.[4][5][6][7]

However, Sharpin Pinball is still the market leader in Android-based virtual pinball tabletops.
