Shauna Vollmer King is an American author and a accredited healthcare professional.

Early life and career[edit]

Shauna King is a graduate of the Global Health Leaders program at Harvard Medical School. King created opportunity for medical professionals traveling abroad to earn accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). This includes providing Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians and offering accreditations for various medical professionals with an emphasis on contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).[1][2]

She is the founder of International Medical Relief (IMR) and has served on different boards including HELP International, Flight for Life, Disaster Area Response Network, Global Development and Relief and International Women’s Forum.[3][4]
