Shawn Lyons (January 3, 1955 - February 2, 2021) was an American polymath who was active as a poet, writer, historian, and hiker. He is considered to be the first person recorded to successfully hike the 12 tallest peaks in the Chugach Front Range within in a single session amounting to 27.5 hours.[1]
