Shehzad Iqbal Ansari (born 16 February 1953), known as Shehzad Khabba, is a former field hockey player from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). The PIA was considered best field hockey team in the country for many years. It first reached the final of national field hockey championship in 1964. It was winner 25 times while finished runner-up eight times in the national event during 1964 and 2016.[1]

Ceylon tour[edit]

At a young age Shehzad was selected to West Pakistan youth team that toured Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) in July 1970. The team played four side games and two matches against Ceylon.[citation needed]

Playing for PIA[edit]

Shehzad joined PIA in 1973-74 but not on sports basis. He never played from PIA in the national field hockey championship. However, he got selection for the PIA team's 1982 tour of Kenya and Zimbabwe. He resigned from the PIA in 1986.

Shehzad played on right-in and centre forward positions.
