Shekhar Ramesh Mishra is an Indian Film maker, Play-writer known for his work in Hindi Cinema, he started working as an executive producer for Anushka Images, Shekhar got his major break as a dialogue writer in "Choron Ki Barat" which never had a theatrical release, due to some issues, His next film Double wedding also not released due to some reasons. He went on to write Television, He has written and directed many episodes for crime series. He then wrote and co-directed a small town romantic comedy Mukkadarpur Ka Majnu, it was released in 5th may 2017, and performed poorly at box office, Shekhar's follow up as writer, Kissebaaz released in 14th June 2019 Staring Pankaj Tripathi, Rahul Bagga and Anupriya Goenka, film did fair job at box-office, He also Written dialogues of a upcoming film Super Dhamaal (2022) Staring Rajpal Yadav, Arya Babbar, Om Puri, Sayali Bhagat, Manoj Joshi his next as writer and director was Sapiens(2022) which he did it for an American Production company titled as Media Film Craft, Sapiens is shot in Pushkar Rajasthan the film is completed. He also founded a theatre company named as Kalakar Theatre Company, under this group he has performed many plays and written Uske Jaane Ke Baad and Hare Darwaze Ke Peeche.

Shekhar was born in Lakhimpur Kheri Uttar Pradesh His Father Shri Ramesh chandra Mishra is a retired teacher of Kendriya Vidayala and was posted in Shahjahanpur District Uttar Pradesh His early eduction was held in Masimpur Assom then his father transferred to Shahjahanpur. Where he completed his schooling from K.V No2 O.C.F Shahjahanpur During his schooling he Joined Koronation Art Theatre, under the direction of Zareef Mallik Anand, did full length plays. After his graduation he spent few months in FTII Pune, where he worked with Diploma students, learned film making, where he had seen many film which influenced him a lot, He decided to become a film maker, to learn more about the craft he then applied for FTII , but unable to secure a position for himself, disappointed by the result he shifted to Delhi to pursue MA in Mass Communication.
