Shekhar Sirrinn [2] was born on 19th June, 1977, in Pune, Maharashtra, India. He completed schooling at Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. While at a very young age, he became fascinated with listening to the songs of the late legendary singer Kishore Kumar, and thus began his journey into the world of music and cinema. Born to Keshav Nambi and Satya Bhama, he has two siblings: his elder brother, Shankar, and his younger sister, Sapna. His involvement with music started when, at age 8, he began to give musical concerts and was much appreciated and encouraged by his brother.
Film career
Early life
He started as an Assistant Director at AD film production companies in 2002, worked at a TV channel, Real estate TV, as a producer programming for 4 years, and then was Creative head at Godfather Creative, a media production company for 3 years. He did Music albums and directed ad films as a freelance Director for 5 years.[2]
Mainstream films
In 2017, he finished his debut film Chicken Curry Law as a writer and director. The film stars Ashutosh Rana, Makrand Deshpande, Zakir Hussain, Nivedita Bhattacharya, and Natalia Jonoszek, a Polish actress from Poland. Shekhar Sirrinn[3]’s maiden film, Chicken Curry Law, produced by his elder brother, Shankar KN, is a project close to his heart and is awaiting release on a major OTT platform. Shekhar believes in stories that have the power to bring about some metamorphosis in society and, at the same time, have a great entertainment quotient.
