The Shelburne Historical Society, which was founded in 1963, later moved into the old Arms Academy building in Shelburne, Massachusetts ( United States ), which had been abandoned after the high school's closing in 1967.[1]

The museum houses items dating from the 1700s to the 20th century, including a room dedicated to the former Arms Academy, original records from local businesses, handmade manuscripts, personal and professional memorabilia from Shelburne, Massachusetts and neighboring towns in the area, amongst others.
