Shenga Holige
Shenga Holige is a sweet snack that is mostly made in North Karnataka. This Holige is made in the same way as obbattu, in North Karnataka it is mostly made during festivals, weddings and baby showers.
Ingredients
Peanut, jaggery, sesame, wheat flour
Method of making
It is made using groundnuts or chickpeas. Clean the peanuts and roast them well. Grind peanuts and add jaggery to it, then mix sesame seeds and grind again. Mix everything well. On one side wheat flour should be kneaded like chapati dough. Then make the peanut mixture into balls and mix it with wheat flour and make it like a chapati. It can be eaten with ghee.
