Shibin Yousaf (born August 13 in Bahrain) is an Indian professional racing driver and motorsport instructor based in the United Arab Emirates. He currently works at Yas Marina Circuit as a Safety Car Driver, Chief Instructor, and Test Driver. Yousaf is the first Indian to win on debut in the Gulf Radical Cup and has competed in several regional and national championships including the TRD 86 Cup, NGK Pro Car Championship, and the Indian Racing League.

Early Life

Yousaf was born in Bahrain and later moved to the United Arab Emirates. At the age of 14, he began working as a marshal at Dubai Autodrome. His early exposure to motorsport events inspired his ambition to become a racing driver. He began karting competitively in 2012 and gradually progressed into circuit racing.

Racing Career

Gulf Radical Cup (2018–2019)

Yousaf made a record-breaking debut in the Gulf Radical Cup, becoming the first Indian driver to win on debut. In his first race weekend, he secured:

  • Race 1 – P1
  • Race 2 – P1
  • Race 3 – P3

This performance earned him a hat-trick of podiums and recognition in the Gulf racing community.

TRD 86 Cup (2014–2019)

From 2014 to 2019, Yousaf competed in the Toyota TRD 86 Cup, held across Yas Marina Circuit and Dubai Autodrome. He consistently secured podiums and was featured in multiple race weekends.

NGK 3Hr Endurance Race

Yousaf competed in the NGK Enduro and NGK Pro Car Championships, winning his class in the 3-hour endurance event with a P1 finish.

Gulf ProCar Championship (2024–2025)

In the 2024–25 season, Yousaf became the overall champion in the Toyota 86 class. He also served as the team’s Driver Coach and Team Manager.
