Shibudas Vengeri
Shibudas Vengeri (born 10th May 1965) is an Indian author of Malayalam literature. He has contributed mainly to short stories and poetry in Malayalam. Shibudas’s short story collection “Mazhappathakal” was awarded the Uroob Kadha Puraskaram (2026), instituted by the Malayala Sahithyapadham, Ponnani, Kerala. He also won the people’s Review Award (Calicut, Kerala) in 2025 for his outstanding contributions. He is active as a lyricist and director of album songs, a playwright and a stage actor. He is a retired engineer from the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB).[1]

Musical Career
The lyrics of the video album "Onnu Charathu Cherth" (in 2023)[10] were written by Shibudas Vengeri, who also directed it, with music by Subhodhu Kozhikode. The video album "Poymuzham Mattiyaro" (in 2022)[11], was also witten and directed by Shibudas Vengeri and the music was composed by Subhodhu Kozhikode.
