Shilpa Bala is a Malayalam actress and television host known for her work in the Malayalam cinema industry. She made her debut film Chemistry (2009 film) in 2009 and won a Film Critics Award for Best Debutant Actress.[1][2][3]
Early life and career
Shilpa has won the "Kalathilakam" title at the Arabian Youth Festival in the UAE.[4] At a young age of 10, Shilpa started her career as a television host on Middle East Television. She has hosted shows on channels like Jeevan TV, Asianet (TV channel), and Kairali TV, including the popular comedy reality show Comedy Express for two consecutive years.[5][6]
Notable works
Shilpa Bala's performances in the entertainment industry have been widely appreciated. Her notable works include the films Chemistry, Orkkuka Vallappozhum and Aagathan. She has also made a mark as a talented dancer, having choreographed and performed in various prestigious events in UAE.
