History
Co-founders Dhruv Saxena and Divey Gulati founded ShipBob in 2014 through the Y Combinator program, aiming to make logistics and fulfillment services accessible to e-commerce brands. The company has raised multiple rounds of funding, with its most recent Series E funding round in 2021 led by Bain Capital Ventures, raising $200 million and valuing the company at $1 billion post-money.[4]
In 2023, ShipBob hired Melissa Nick, Amazon’s former VP of North America Customer Fulfillment, as Chief Supply Chain Officer.[5]
