Shiri Spear is an American meteorologist for Boston 25 News in Boston, Massachusetts.[2][3] She joined the station in November 12, having previously worked for NBC 6 in South Florida,[4] between 2010 and 2012, and WWLP, between 2007 and 2010.[5]
She is a 2007 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she attained a Master of Science.[6] She is also a graduate of McGill University (2002), Coastal Carolina Community College (2003) and Rivier University (2005).[5] She taught pre-school during her time at Rivier.[2][7]
Certification[edit]
Spear was awarded a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist accreditation by the American Meteorological Society in 2012.[2]
Personal life[edit]
Spear was raised in Hollis, New Hampshire. Her husband, Matt, is a United States Marine. They have two daughters.[2]
