Shogun Audio is an independent drum and bass label based in Brighton, United Kingdom. It was founded in 2004 by DJ Ed Keeley (professionally known as Friction) alongside business partner and musical collaborator Keir Tyrer.[1] The label and it's affiliates Elevate Records and SGN:LTD release a broad range of music ranging from heavy-hitting drum and bass to chilled liquid.[2] The Shogun Audio collective has now expanded into a label group, publisher, event promoter and more.[3]

The label has won multiple awards including DJ Mag's 'Best of British Best Compilation 2011', Bass Music Awards 'Best Event' in 2015.[4][5] Founder Friction's debut album 'Connections' won Bass Music Awards 'Best Album Award' in 2019.[6]
