Shohreh Ghamar (Persian: شهره قمر; born 4 October 1993) is an Iranian actress. She made her feature film debut in Reflection (2009) and has appeared in several Iranian cinematic productions, including In the Specified Time (2015), Bagh-e Behesht (2014), and Kati & Setareh (2019).[1]
Career
Ghamar began her acting career in 2009 with the feature film Reflection (Persian: انعکاس), directed by Reza Karimi. In 2014, she starred in Bagh-e Behesht (Persian: باغ بهشت), directed by Morteza Mohammadian. She later played a lead role in the film Kati & Setareh (2019), directed by Reza Majlesi.
In October 2018, she appeared in the play Laleh Zar, Katoozian Hotel at the Mehregan Theater House in Tehran.[2]
Legal issues
In July 2023, Ghamar was arrested in Tehran regarding posts published on her social media accounts.[1][3] She was released on bail in September 2023.[4]
