Shore (video game)

Shore is an upcoming co-operative survival video game developed by Underdog, a solo, indie developer. It is scheduled for release for Microsoft Windows through Steam in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Shore is a first-person survival adventure game supporting online co-operative play. The game supports 1-4 players and takes place after a volcanic eruption strands the players' characters at a sea on a wooden raft based on physics principles.

Plot

Shore supports single-player and co-operative multi-player for up to four players. The game takes place at sea, where players travel on a raft and attempt to survive while reaching safety. The raft uses physics-based movement, with its balance affected by waves, currents, and the movement of players. Players are challenged with resource management and environmental hazards, while co-ordinating movements.

Development and Release

Shore was announced in July 2026. It is describes as physics focused co-operative survival adventure game. Its development videos had accumulated more than 600,000 views, and the developer had received more than 2000 feature request from players before game release.

The game is scheduled for release on PC in 2026. A Stream playtest is available prior to release.
