Shorya Mahanot is an Indian abstract artist[1] known as the World’s Youngest Signature Style Abstract Artist.[2] [3][4] He is the winner of POGO’s Amazing Kid Award.[5]

Early life[edit]

Mahanot was born in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh[6] to Aditya Singh Mahanot and Pushpa Mahanot and has two siblings.[6] He completed his early education from Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Neemuch.[7]

Career[edit]

Shorya started his career at the age of four in 2011 with a solo exhibition at Chambers Terrace, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai.[8] In 2012, he was first recognized by Indian cartoonist R. K. Laxman and was called to present his abstract paintings in a live demo at Laxman's Residence in Pune.[1][9][10][11] In March 2013, his art was exhibited in the 35th Annual Art Expo, New York, USA[12] where his works were included in a special curated exhibition at the Ward-Nasse Gallery in New York[13] and in 2017, he collaborated with Microsoft India's Future Decoded in Mumbai.[4] His paintings are also displayed at the Holtzman Gallery in New Jersey, USA.
