Show Us Your Shit (also known as Show Us Your Shit (or: Some Shakespeare, A Pair of Pyjamas & A Mutton Chop)) is an Instagram Live series created and presented by Dan Schreiber. Each episode features a different guest who shows Schreiber and the live Instagram audience a selection of interesting objects from around their home.
Schreiber created the show whilst staying at his in-laws' house during the COVID-19 pandemic.[1].
On 6th June 2020, Schreiber was featured on the BBC Radio 4 series Loose Ends to discuss Show Us Your Shit [1].
The show is broadcast live on Schreiber's Instagram page at 9.30 PM BST four times per week. The episodes are later uploaded to Youtube [2].
Title
The extended title of the show is a tribute to P. G. Wodehouse who, whilst living in France, found out he and his wife were about to be arrested by Nazi soldiers and had ten minutes to gather some belongings and flee. The only items Wodehouse fled with were a copy of Shakespeare, a pair of pyjamas, and a mutton chop [3].
At the end of each episode, Schreiber explains the extended title to the guest and asks them to choose one item from their own homes which they would take with them if they had to theoretically flee their own home.
Shit Club
Shit Club is a fan club which has been created in response to the show [4]. Members of the club are called Shitheads; the name is inspired by the members of the Phillip K. Dick fan club who are known as Dickheads [5]
From 3rd May 2020, the Sunday episode of Show Us Your Shit has been dedicated to members of the Shit Club who are invited to chat with Schreiber about interesting objects from around their own homes.

As of 9th June 2020, there have been 47 episodes of Show Us Your Shit.
Episode #43 was a special episode of Show Us Your Shit which anonymously featured the Golden Hare, the treasure which was to be found upon solving the clues from Kit Williams 1979 book, Masquerade [6]. The hare was last seen in public at the V&A Museum, London, in 2012 [7].
