Shower Beers is an American pop-punk band from New York City, formed in 2022.[1] They have currently released their debut EP The Pregame Properly EP in March 2023.
History
Shower Beers formed in 2022 in Bethany Beach, Delaware by founding member Chris Diorio.[2] Shortly after forming, Shower Beers relocated to Murray Hill, Manhattan[3] and released their debut EP The Pregame Properly EP in March 2023. In November 2023, Shower Beers released “One More Shot,” the first single off of their 2nd EP Miracle on 34th & 3rd featuring Australian pop-punk band SoSo.[4] Miracle on 34th & 3rd was produced by Rob Freeman (of Hidden In Plain View) at Audio Pilot Studios.[5]
Style and influences
Shower Beers’ style has been identified as pop-punk.[6] TJPL News Magazine describes Shower Beers’ music as “blending classic 00s punk with modern fervor."[7] Shower Beers claims to have been influenced by bands such as Blink-182, Hit The Lights, New Found Glory, and Bowling For Soup.[8]
