Shreena Patel
Shreena Patel (born 24 October 1985 London, United Kingdom) is an American abstract artist, painter and sculptor. Shreena Patel is known for her metallic-sparkle acrylic abstract paintings and was awarded with the Asian Achievers Awards in the year 2022 for her art gallery.[1][2]
Career and Education
Shreena Patel completed her education from University of the Arts, London and went to Brunel University, London for her higher studies. She wanted to be an artist since her childhood and practised art. After completing her graduation, she worked in the civil service. Her expertise is seen in religious paintings.[3]
In 2022 she was awarded with the Asian Achievers award. In the same year she received the Eastern Eye finalist ACTA Arts & Culture award. Patel's paintings are appreciated and sold among some high-profile people, ranging from cricketers to actors from India and the UK, including Harbhajan Singh, his actor wife Geeta Basra, Seema Malhotra from the Real housewives of Cheshire, among others.[4][5]
Recently her painting Kleem was displayed at the Sanatan Hindu Mandir in Wembley during the recently concluded Navratri festival. It took 50 hours to complete the painting to celebrate Durga Puja and the acrylic-on-canvas art, measuring 120×100 centimetres. Her painting of Pramukh Swami Maharaj titled ‘Divine Joy’ was featured at the Neasden Temple this Diwali (2022).[6][7]
