In 2000, Glenn Ficarra and John Requa were set to adapt Rob Liefeld's "Shrink" into a film for Columbia Pictures with Adam Fields producing the film until the rights lapsed, but on February 6, 2019, Columbia revived the film with Doug Belgrad and Fields producing through 2.0 Entertainment with Liefeld.[1]
