Shwe Aing

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Among the five Princes of Pyinsi during the Konbaung Dynasty, Prince Maung Shwe Aine was the first Prince of Pyinsi. He was the grandson of King Alaungpaya's full brother. Prince Maung Shwe Ya, the full brother of King Alaungpaya, was Maung Shwe Aine's grandfather. Prince Maung Shwe Ya passed away before becoming king.

Maung Pyay, the son of Prince Maung Shwe Ya and Princess Khin Wa (the daughter of Min Thiri Yanta Za, the Commander of Shwe Ka in Sippaw, and Princess Ma Bek), held the title "Minye Thinkathu" and served as the Cavalry Prince of Kyauk Sauk. He was the father of the first Prince of Pyinsi, Maung Shwe Aine.

The wife of Prince Maung Shwe Aine was Princess Khin Ama of Pyithawtha Village, the daughter of Minhla Kyawthu, a commander of Inwa. King Alaungpaya granted the city of Pyinsi to Prince Maung Shwe Aine, which is how he received the title of Prince of Pyinsi.[1]
