Shyamantak Ganguly[1][2] (born September 12, 1994) is an Indian martial arts[3] and fitness trainer, known for his accomplishments in full contact karate[1] and kickboxing.[4]

Early life and education[edit]

Ganguly completed his schooling from South Point High School and holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce Honors from The Bhawanipur Education Society.[5]

Achievements[edit]

  • Junior Asian Full Contact Karate Champion in Sri Lanka in 2008.[6]
  • Five-time National Full Contact Karate Champion (2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018).[7]
  • Fifth place in the International Dream Cup (Full Contact Karate Championship) in South Korea in 2018.[8][4]
  • Second place in the International Copa de Brazil Full Contact Karate Championship in Brazil in 2019.[3]
  • Third place in the Open Full Contact Karate World Cup in Hungary in 2023[1][9][10]
  • Second place in the National Wako Kickboxing Championship in Goa 2021.[11][5]
  • Third place in the National Pro Kickboxing Championship in 2022.[12]
  • Holder of a 3rd Dan Full Contact Karate (Kyokushin Karate) black belt.[13][14]
