Siamak Karinejad is an Iranian production designer. He is known for his work on Ava (2017), for which he was nominated for the Canadian Screen Award for Achievement in Art Direction / Production Design.[1]
Career
Karinejad worked as production designer on Ava, a 2017 film directed by Sadaf Foroughi. In its review of the film, The Hollywood Reporter referred to the film's "minimalist decor" and listed Karinejad as the production designer.[2] The New Zealand International Film Festival also listed him as the film's production designer.[3]
Karinejad was credited as production designer on Me, Maryam, the Children and 26 Others, directed by Farshad Hashemi. The film screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2024.[4]
He was production designer on Between Dreams and Hope, directed by Farnoosh Samadi. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.[5]
Karinejad was also credited as art director on The Friend's House Is Here, directed by Maryam Ataei and Hossein Keshavarz. The film was selected for the Proxima Competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.[6] It was also reviewed by Screen Daily, which listed Karinejad for production design.[7]
