Siavash B Arani

Siavash Arani (born May 19, 1976) is an American author and a physician based in Los Angeles, California. [1] He is known for treating sexually transmitted diseases and related human papilloma virus (HPV) infection. He developed the successful treatment methodology of HPV related growth such as Condyloma Acuminata infection.[2][3] He is also the author of the book “HPV: The Silent Intruder”, a guide for diagnosing and treating STDs.[4][5]

Education and Medical Training[edit]

Dr. Arani graduated from the Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) in 1999.[6] He competed his post medical graduate clinical training at Maricopa medical center in Arizona and Mayo Clinic Hospital.[6]

Physician[edit]

Dr. Arani began his medical career as an Instructor of medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine (LLU) in Loma Linda, California.[7] He was appointed assistant clinical professor of medicine at LLU in 2003[8] and subsequently founded D.A.M.L., the STD/HPV diagnostic and treatment clinics in California in 2004.[9] In 2007, Dr. Arani introduced the three step micro-surgical destruction method for removal of HPV warts called Condyloma BCR in a study showed the method with 99.3% success.[2][3] In 2011 his institution ranked first among top 10 academic or non-academic treatment institutions in recognition of its high outpatient recovery rate.[10] In 2016, Dr. Arani proposed a new classification of Non-maligant HPV related growth to observe and further control the spreading of external epithelial HPV infection.[2][3] He also conducted and published a study reveals looming epidemic of undetected STDs called NCNGU due to lack of public awareness and consistent diagnostic testing.[11][12][13]

In 2013, Dr. Arani published the book HPV, The Silent Intruder: An in-depth Review of Human Papilloma Virus.[4] It is an educational guide for diagnosing and treating STDs.[5]

Awards and Honors[edit]

Dr. Arani has been the recipient of the following awards and honors:

  • CCPM Presidential Scholarship for earning the highest GPA among all medical college admission class of 1999.[1]
  • Mayo Clinic Hospital, Case Recognition award.[1]
  • Letter of appreciation from the then president of the United States of America President George W. Bush for a suggestion to the White House regarding public health and quality of care for all, especially uninsured patients on April 11, 2006.[6][14]
  • Talk of the Town Award winner for consumer reviews and patient satisfaction.[15]

Dr. Siavash Arani has been featured on the news and media networks to give expert input on diagnosis and treatment of STDs and human papilloma virus.[11][12][13] He has been featured expert on Fox News,[16] NBC,[17] Netcast News,[18] Telemundo, LA City View Channel 35, and BET as well as KCBQ 1170 AM in San Diego.[19]
