Sid Glenar (1903 - 1993) was an animation camera operator in the Golden Age of American Animation.

He began his career in animation working at The Bray Studio and Fleischer Studios in New York, NY specializing in Animation Trick Photography aiding in the development of Koko the Clown and Betty Boop. It was Sid’s hand that drew Koko the Clown onscreen[1] at the start of each episode of Out of the Inkwell. Sid remained at Fleischer Studios until October of 1928 when he moved to Hollywood California to begin work as a Senior Camera Operator with Charls Mintz Studios, soon later to become known as Screen Gems. In the late 1940s Sid started Glenar Productions located on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood providing animation camera and title services until he retired in the 1970s.
