Siddharth Warrier
Siddharth Warrier (born 22 February 1988) is an Indian neurologist, content creator and poet[1].[2].
Early life and education
Dr. Warrier was born and raised in Mumbai, India[1]. He was born to Dr. Ramkumar Warrier, who owns a nursing home in Mumbai, and Radhika Warrier, who teaches Carnatic music. He completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College and Sir Jamshedjee Jeejeebhoy Group of Hospitals, his MD from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College of Mumbai University. He then pursued a DM in neurology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) [3][4].
Career
Dr. Warrier has published five scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals[5][6][7][8][9][10]. He has spoken at TEDx SIESGST and TEDx GLAU[11][12][13].
In 2020, he started online classes for students on neurology and neuroscience. His Instagram and YouTube channels acquired more audiences when comedian Tanmay Bhat invited him to do livestreams on medical topics[3][14]. He regularly posts videos on his channels that help people gain a deeper understanding of their brain[1][15][16]
Awards and recognition
Dr. Warrier’s poem “Limbic Love” has won a special prize in the International Hippocrates Conference for Medical Poetry in London[2].
Personal life
In his free time, he enjoys writing and reciting poetry[17]
