Siddique Shameer is an Indian film director, writer, and novelist, born in Kodungallur, Thrissur, Kerala.
Siddique Shameer's famous works as a director are Kadal (1994 film) , ( starred by Babu Antony, Charmila, Vijayaraghavan, Rajan P. Dev, etc.), Mazhavilkoodaram (starred by Rahman (actor), Chithra shaji kailas, Kalabhavan Abi, Shiju etc) and Ishtamanu Nooru Vattam (starred by Shiju, Salim Kumar, Reshmi Soman etc). He also worked on scripting 'Kaalam Maari Kadha Maari, Mohabbath (2011 film). He had written novels which numbers around Thirty. 'Kadal', 'Kallayippuzha', 'Nikkaah', 'Kalippaavakal', 'Ninamaninja pookkal', 'Orunokku kanaan', 'Chakkarakkudom'are his prominent novels. He is presently the publisher and editor of the monthly magazine "Samakalika Spandanam".'
