Poet, writer, essayist, fictionist, novelist and play/script writer Sidra Sahar Imran hails from Karachi, Pakistan. She was born on August 8, 1986 in a very traditional family. She got her early education in Karachi. She got her master degree in Urdu literature from University of Karachi. From the very childhood she fall in love with words and books and that love transformed her to one of most of powerful and rebellious voices of contemporary Urdu Literature. She started writing from very childhood. She wrote poetry, fiction, novels, articles, features and columns.  Her work has been published in numerous Urdu Journals and magazines of Pakistan and India. She wrote novels for commercial digests too.  Her work is available on Rekhta.[1] Darsaal, UrduPoint [2] Urdushayar [3] , atunispoetry [4] Her two poetry books Moot Ki Rehearsal (Translated into English Death’s Rehearsals )and Hum Gunah ka Istahara  Hein (We: The Metaphors of Sin) got huge applauds from the critics and readers.  She is also a scripts and play writer and writes for different TV Channels of Pakistan.
