Siegees of Çinçin and Hançin were a march by the Seljuk sultan Izz-al-din Kaykaus against the Armenian king.

Sultan Izz-al-din gathered his main army in Kayseri and entered the Armenian lands from the Kösidere district of Marash. He first besieged the Çinçin (Kanchin) Castle. Although the people of the castle resisted, they had to surrender. The Sultan confiscated the castle warehouses and appointed his commanders to the fortress. Then he headed to Hançin Castle. Here, too, the people surrendered, but there were some flood movements here. The outpouring ones were brought from the sword and into the castle warehouses. The fall of these castles threatened the capital city of Sis. On the contrary, Sultan Izz-al-din wanted to settle accounts with the Armenian king himself. He immediately left Hanchin. And he moved towards Keban.[1][2][3]
