History
Founded in 2006, SignatureMD, one of the nation’s largest firms providing initial conversion and ongoing support services to concierge medicine physicians, is on the rise – and on the move. SignatureMD is headquartered in Boca Raton, and has shown a history of rapid growth. SignatureMD currently partners with more than 200 primary care physicians and specialists in 35 states. The acquisition in recent years of two other established concierge medicine companies, Paragon Private Health [1] and Cypress Membership Medicine, has allowed SignatureMD to continue building its network across the United States.
Business model
SignatureMD’s unique segmented conversion model is flexible and financially rewarding, enabling physicians to retain current income from existing patients who choose not to enroll while gaining income from those who upgrade to concierge care as well as new concierge members attracted by a higher level of service.
SignatureMD’s segmented conversion model is the only one of its kind and allows physicians to transition to concierge medicine at their own time and pace, using a personalized conversion plan designed to fit the needs of their practice.
Concierge medicine is also ideal from a patient perspective. With a network of 200+ concierge physicians in 35 states, SignatureMD members can usually reach their concierge doctor by phone, text, or email, anytime, day or night.
When they need in-person care, SignatureMD members are able to get same-day appointments, usually with largely reduced wait times. Patients typically enjoy longer visits with their doctor – 30 to 45 minutes on average, and up to 90 minutes for an annual physical.
