Sikt

Sikt, the Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research is a public administrative body under the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research. It was created in January 2022 through a merger between the former Norwegian Centre for Research Data, Uninett and Unit (Norway). Sitk's head office is located in Trondheim, with additional offices in Bergen and Oslo.
Sikt aims to provide a shared, user-centric knowledge infrastructure for the knowledge sector with a focus on digitalization, data sharing and open research. Its products and services include the Norwegian Scientific Index (NVI) and the European Social Survey (ESS).
