Website[edit]

SilverAndBlackToday.com kicked off covering the Raiders during the 2017 with game coverage, team news, and commentary on the team. The site was first called Las Vegas Raiders Report and was changed[2] to be more inclusive to all Raiders fans with so many readers outside the Las Vegas area. The site was also redesigned at the same time to be more streamlined for the reader and more accessible via mobile device.

The site covers the Raiders from a distance until their final relocation to Las Vegas in 2020. It includes a stable of writers from all over the world covering all subjects related to the Raiders.

Podcast[edit]

The podcast first debuted on June 15, 2017 under the name Las Vegas Raiders Report Podcast. Its name also changed to accompany Silver and Black Today rebranding.

The podcast included hosts Gulbransen, Rob Barnett (2017), Scott Winter (2018), and Matt Gutierrez (2018-2019), Kelly Kriner (2019-present), and Chaz Osborne (2019-present).

On September 29, 2018, the podcast was named Best Podcast in the state by the Nevada Press Association in its first year.

CBS Sports Radio Show[edit]

After the early success of the Silver and Black Today podcast, Entercom's local CBS Sports Radio affiliate KXST-AM 1140 launched Silver and Black Today as an over-the-air radio show on April 15, 2018. The show welcomes nationally-renowned guests like former Raiders MVP quarterback Rich Gannon, Super Bowl champions Cliff Branch & Phil Villapiano, and former Raider greats Tim Brown, Steve Wisniewski, and Dokie Williams. The show also talks to and highlights the journalists covering the Raiders, their opponents, and the NFL.

The show is a mix of talk and analysis heavily focused on bringing dynamic and entertaining Raiders talk to the future home of the team. The show runs two hours every Sunday from 8-10am Pacific Time and is broadcast live from the CBS Sports Radio 1140 studios in Las Vegas.

The show launched with three hosts: Gulbransen, Winter & Gutierrez, but has since had a lineup shuffle with NFL draft analyst Kriner, and former NBA scout Osborne joining the broadcast each week.

Weekly contributors to the show have included Vincent Bonsignore from The Athletic Los Angeles

Silver and Black Today on CBS Sports Radio 1140 was renewed for its second year in March 2019.
