Simon Taylor (comedian)

Simon Taylor (born 21 January 1988) is an Australian comedian, television host and writer.[1][2][3][4]

Career[edit]

Simon studied psychology at the University of Melbourne, before becoming a stand-up comedian.[5] In 2011, he became a writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno [6] and then later wrote for Shaun Micallef's Mad as Hell. In 2013 he became the host of RMITV's flagship show, Live on Bowen.[1]

He has made multiple appearances on ABC's Comedy Up Late, and in 2017 Simon's stand-up comedy special, Human, featured on ABC's Comedy Next Ten series. Most recently, Simon was a writer on the Nextflix original series Magic for Humans and made an appearance in the show.[1]

Simon is a published author with his debut novel, One-Night Stand, set for release through Larrikin House on February 1st, 2021.[7][8] He has also written a children's book called Sally and The Magical Sneeze.[9][10]
