Sincron HR Software.[1] is a private human resources technology company with offices in Vancouver, British Columbia[2], Canada and Bucharest, Romania[3]. Over the years, Sincron has expanded its Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to include an employee self-service portal, internal communication system, HR analytics and the following modules - organization management, recruitment, onboarding, personnel management, time and attendance, performance and goals and training management[4]
History
HR Sincron SRL[5] was launched in May of 2006[6] in Bucharest, Romania offering recruitment software to local clients. It became part of the Senior Group[7] in July 2007, but was then purchased by Corina and Victor Tataru and Mihai Stanca[8]. The company soon evolved offering a comprehensive talent management platform and integrated solutions for international projects. By 2010 Sincron HR had captured 80% of the Romanian HR tech market.[9]
In 2017, with The Founder Institute[10] mentors, John Thornburn[11] and Rick Pasin,[12] joining the team, Sincron launched operations in North America and began taking part in the "Paperless HR" project co-financed by the European Fund for Regional Development under the Competitiveness Operational Program.[13] Sincron also took a leading role in helping educate HR departments in Europe about the GDPR effects on Human Resources departments[14]. Topics included new rights, consent, compliance, data security, and the involvement of data protection officers within organizations.
Corporate
On June 1, 2017 the North American division of Sincron, Sincron HR Technologies Inc.[15], was incorporated in the province of British Columbia, Canada. In September of 2017 both HR Sincron SRL and Sincron HR Technologies Inc. (operating as Sincron Talent Management[16]) were re-branded as Sincron HR Software.
