Sinergology

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Sinergology is a new domain – concept – that is directly linked with non-verbal communication and its every aspect, the theoretical.[1] Its definition sounds like: “the discipline that allows the decryption of the human mind through the interpretation of body language”.

In contradiction with any speculation, sinergology is believed to be different from the kinesthesis science – which also studies the interpretation of body language – through its functionality and the beliefs that support the two subjects.[2]

The synergological researches are introducing innovative topics such as the double bind, the lie, examining every region of the human body and analyzing it in order to find a strong link between it and the ability to emphasize – creating relationships.[3]

“The lying filter” is a topic that has been introduced by sinergology, and categorizes the three lies that dominate our society:

-The supraevaluation lie: “an essential level in affirming our identity as socialized humans” that is strongly linked with the contrast between appearance and essence and with the constant necessity of a human to project himself and to build his image, a syndrome that John Harvey and Cynthia Katz named “the impostor complex”.[4]

-The compliance lies: also named a “necessary lie” based on a compromise generated by the fear of not changing, altering, or losing an inter-human connection.[5]

-The elision lies: one of the “insignificant” lies – according to general current society – that is defined by omitting some details, hiding just one part of the whole truth.[6]

The intervention of sinergological studies appears when -in case of lies- the body language (which, according to São Paulo, is considered to be entirely trustworthy) analyzes different parts of the body in order to observe results that might be in contrast – contradictory messages about the verbal and non-verbal language.

Sinergology is also studying the differences on a cultural level, and – opposing to kinesthesis science – supports the fact that the cultural level does not necessarily produce changes over the gestures themselves but mostly on their amplitude and frequency. Another aspect that was developed by sinergology – also being named a tool–is the fact that, in its case, the body language of a human depends on the context.[7]

Because the non-verbal language has a much bigger connection with the brain – transmitted through pulse codes that create synaptic links - resulting in motion gestures and cognitive activity, sinergology studies in-depth the aspects of unconsciousness and its semantics.[8]
