Single-use plastic

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Single-use plastics, or disposable plastics, are used only once before they are thrown away or recycled. These items are things like plastic bags, straws, coffee stirrers, soda and water bottles and most food packaging.[1]. Single-use plastics are an enormous cost saver, especially to worldwide corporations that are in the business of producing and selling beverages and/or packaged food (such as the Coca-Cola Company or Nestlé). However, they can put a tremendous strain on the environment, especially when sold in regions or countries that have poor recycling regulations and/or facilities[2]
