Singular, Act. 1 is the upcoming third studio album by American singer Sabrina Carpenter, expected to be released on November 9, 2018, by Hollywood Records. Carpenter began writing the album in 2016, shortly after the launch of her second studio album, Evolution until 2018.[1]

Promotion[edit]

Carpenter began teasing her then-untitled third studio album and the lead single "Almost Love" in May 2018. On June 2, 2018, four days before the release date of "Almost Love", Carpenter released the album trailer. The trailer announced that the album was called "Singular" and that it was scheduled for a winter 2018 release. On October 1, 2018 while performing "Almost Love" on The Late Late Show With James Corden, Carpenter ended the performance by spray painting "11/9" on the wall, indicating Singular's release date to be November 9. On October 22, 2018, Carpenter announced via Social Media that the albums name had been changed to Singular: Act 1 and an Act 2 would be coming soon.

On June 6, 2018, "Almost Love" was released as the lead single.[citation needed]
