Sinking Ship Entertainment is a Canadian production, distribution and digital media company founded in 2004.[1] It is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Sinking Ship Entertainment is a Canadian production, distribution and digital media company founded by J.J. Johnson, Blair Powers, and Matt Bishop.[2] The company specializes in children’s live-action CGI blended television. It has produced over 500 hours of content since its launch in 2004.[3] Sinking Ship Entertainment’s current broadcasters include Amazon Prime,[4][5] PBS,[6] and TVO.[7]

It is involved in the 2xMore initiative which aims to double the number of women directors working with scripted media within three years.[8][9]

  • 2015: Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Pre-School Children's Series to Dino Dan: Trek's Adventures.[10]
