Padukka Piyarathana College Rugby was started in the year 2002. The Padukka Piyarathana College rugby team is also the first school rugby team in the Homagama educational zone. Mr.Gogerley Abeyratne has been the Head Coach since 2002. Under the captaincy of Anushka Nimantha, Piyarathana College won the 2007 League Group Championship for the first time. The Piyarathana rugby team made the new nickname 'TITANS RUGBY' on this year. 2017 Titans Rugby team, led by Gihan Kavinda, won the league group title again. Then again in 2018 under the captaincy of Imesh Newamal Titans rugby team won the league title and promoted to the Division one segment
